That's right! The radio program inspired by the hippie freak out/indie hipster festival that occurs every year in Manchester, TN will be aired tomorrow morning starting at 8am on WEVL 89.9FM. Each Radio Bonnaroo program showcases artists that you might see at the festival and gives you "rare live performances, commerically unavailable songs, interviews, b-sides and remixes". Below are the artists that will be on the show:
Death Cab For Cutie
The North Mississippi Allstars (w/Lucinda Williams)
New Pornographers
Ben Folds
Calexico w/Sam Beam of Iron and Wine
Ani DiFranco w/Erin McKeown
Susan Tedeschi, Karl Denson w/Col. Bruce Hampton's Codetalkers
moe.
Leo Keottke and Mike Gordon
The Meters
(I atteneded the festival a few years back and got the chance to see Yo La Tengo, Grandaddy, My Morning Jacket, David Byrne, Calexico, Wilco, Patti Smith, etc. Good good times!)
Again, that's Thursday (9/1) 8-9am

What happened? When I turned on the radio this morning around 8:30, I heard "Ring of Fire."
