- Perhaps you have noticed that I have stopped writing reviews for my picks of the week. Since I am not a writer they were becoming a bit tiresome to write, and I doubted if they were actually read. But they are fun to look back on so I might try to start them back up.

The Memphis Beat Summer School - Week 3

The Memphis Beat keeps chuggin' along with its series of summer theme shows with an in-studio performance from Brad Postlethwaite and special guests this Tuesday (7/7) from 1 - 2pm. You're sure to know Brad from his work with Snowglobe or his own solo albums. And perhaps you are aware of him being the driving force behind the record label, Makeshift Music. As well as performing, Brad will be sharing with us some of his favorite Memphis music.
