Yep, the 30th Anniversary WEVL Spring Drive officially got off the runway this morning with a very enjoyable edition of The Modern World hosted by Darryl, complete with tunes from the likes of Suicide, Pere Ubu, Talking Heads, Joy Division and many others connected with the post punk era. I have been asked by Bowman to fill in for him tonight on his reggae/dub program UK-JA Reggae. I admit I don't have a vast knowledge of the genre but I certainly will give it my best shot. And for those counting, this is the 15th program that I have subbed for the station. Before long I might get cocky enough to believe I can sub for Nic Forster on E-Town.
