Vic Chesnutt will be coming back to Memphis Wednesday night at the HiTone. Vic's early records (from Little thru Is the Actor Happy?) have been re-released with lots of bonus tracks. The new one, Ghetto Bells, is just as impressive as his back catalog with contributions from Bill Frisell and Van Dyke Parks.
Along with Vic will be ex-The Modern Lovers frontman Jonathan Richman. Perhaps the two will do a rendition of "Roadrunner" together.
