Yeah, the folks at Pitchfork weren't too thrilled about the record either... but I stand by it. I don't know of any other artist out there that takes more chances than Will Oldham. And even when his attempts fall flat (which this project doesn't) they always have their merit. Is Brave and Bold a great record? No, but it certainly is "brave and bold".
